Plans are being made for a campaign to highlight the plight of the oldest pensioners, targeting the completely inadequate 25p a week age addition payable at 80.

Pensions Switch will kill off rural Post Offices

The Government want all pensions to be paid through bank accounts because it is cheaper. But these plans could affect the future of rural Post Offices. Small Post Offices expect to lose 40% of their revenue. Surely the way forward for local communities and pensioners is to use the local Post Office card account.
