What we do

Our organisation brings together many individuals and groups interested in promoting the rights and welfare of pensioners in Perth & Kinross. The Forum campaigns on

• the level of State retirement
• pensioners income
• the National Health Service
• residential and community care
• Local Government services
• cold weather payments
• adequate representation for older people.

We recognise that, as older peoples' needs and interests are far wider than care services, there is also the need to plan for increased demand on sport and leisure services, libraries, lifelong and community learning, and information and advice services.

Perth & Kinross Pensioners Forum are committed to the establishment of a ONE STOP SHOP to ensure that a direct line of communication exists with the Police, Fire Service, Pension Service, Perth & Kinross Council, and many other organisations who promote the rights and welfare of pensioners.
